Benefits and Highlights
[Our website is only in French at the moment. If you need help registering for this activity, please contact us at coordo@mieuxnaitre.org]
These meetings offer you a moment to focus on yourself. Facilitators guide the discussions to help you reflect on experiences and validate emotions. Topics covered address the concerns that matter to you, including:
- Your experience with your baby's birth story
- Your baby's needs and development
- How to find balance as a parent and practice self-care
- Sorting through the flood of parenting information, making decisions, and building confidence
- Changes in your body after having a baby-reconnecting with your body, perceptions, and sensations
- Intimacy, relationships (or not), sexuality, and collaboration between parents
- Navigating guilt and anxiety
This is not a group therapy but rather an opportunity for parents to exchange experiences and support one another. The strength of this activity lies in the kindness, attentive listening, and solidarity shared among parents, moments of introspection and mindful connection with your body, reflective activities, and the bonds formed between participants living the realities of life with a young baby.
